Unus Annus--the channel that came into our lives on November 15th, 2019. One Unus and one Annus. One black and one white. The yin and yang of life and death. They promised us 365 days together, and that is exactly what they delivered. Not a moment more, and not a moment less. Unus Annus taught us about the process of death and helped to prepare us for the inevitable. While we have learned to slowly accept that death is inescapable and that it is part of life, it does not lessen the pain that we feel from our loss. We will grieve our dear Unus and Annus for months and years to come, but eventually we will come to terms with the fact that they were only in our lives for the allotted time. Nothing lasts forever, and that is the most important lesson they taught us. We've laughed together, and we've cried together. We share memories that belong to only a few million people. We have a special bond that others will never understand, but that makes our time together all the more precious.
